Last Tuesday’s landslide victory for U.S. Democratic Congressional candidate
Kesha Rogers, a leader of American economist Lyndon LaRouche’s youth movement,
in the Democratic primary in Texas’ 22nd Congressional District (with
53% of the vote, as opposed to 27%, and 20% for her opponents), has changed the
world. The reason is that her victory was based on her very active campaign to
save the American space program NASA, headquartered in her district, and to
impeach President Barack Obama. This single event shows that President Obama
will be facing increased calls for his impeachment, or resignation, by an
American population which is being devastated by the collapsing economy and
financial system, and he may soon be removed from office. The growing political revolt by the angry American population, has crucial international implications. During our last seminar, which took place during the COP15 Climate Summit, we described the increasing possibility of implementing Lyndon LaRouche’s proposal for a 4-power agreement, between the U.S., Russia, China and India, to create a new international credit system, to finance massive investments in the physical-economic development of the world. This was due to, firstly, a new set of Russian-Chinese economic agreements, and, secondly, the Chinese-Indian joint policy to defend national economic sovereignty, which led to the collapse of the anti-growth COP15 summit. Yet, the biggest hurdle to be overcome to gain the 4-power agreement, was the anti-Franklin Roosevelt policy of the U.S. Obama administration. Now, with the writing on the wall for President Obama, this necessary political shift in the U.S. is clearly a possibility. The threat of European sovereign defaults in the Euro countries, can lead to total economic and social destruction, or the possibility of the return of national currencies and national economic sovereignty – the only viable solution – and the precursor for European participation in a new credit system.
