Dette udtryk henviser til de nationer og milliarder af mennesker, der er engageret i en respektfuld og gensidigt fordelagtig udvikling, og som afviser den globale NATO’s konfrontationspolitik. I denne nye ånd finder der talrige konkrete aktioner – projekter, konferencer og tilsagn – sted.

Sergey Lavrov, Ruslands udenrigsminister, som for nylig tog udtrykket Global Majority i brug, skrev en artikel, der blev offentliggjort i denne uge, og som omhandler det faktum, at verden lever i en tid med “historiske geopolitiske skift”. Han skrev, at denne proces “sætter objektive faktorer på plads for fremkomsten af en ny multipolær verdensorden – en mere modstandsdygtig, retfærdig og demokratisk ramme, der afspejler den naturlige og umistelige ret for hver nation til at bestemme sin fremtid samt vælge sine egne interne og socioøkonomiske udviklingsmodeller”. Se på initiativerne i Egypten, som er til gavn for landets 104 millioner indbyggere, men også for det afrikanske kontinent og det spændte, krigshærgede Sydvestasien. Den 22. marts blev det annonceret, at Egypten er blevet medlem af New Development Bank, der blev grundlagt af BRICS i 2014, en konkret handling i overensstemmelse med et kommende BRICS-medlemskab, måske, og også et signal til andre nationer. Samme dag annoncerede myndighederne for Suezkanalen en aftale, hvorefter et kinesisk firma vil etablere et jern- og stålkompleks i Suez Development Zone til fremstilling af støbejernsrør, en grundlæggende industriel kapacitet for alle former for infrastruktur og fremstilling. Der er tale om en aftale på 2 mia. dollars.

Med henblik på den eurasiske udvikling sendte den kinesiske præsident Xi Jinping i sidste uge invitationer ud til det første topmøde mellem Kina og Centralasien, der skal finde sted i maj. Han skrev til lederne af de fem nationer i regionen – Kasakhstan, Kirgisistan, Tadsjikistan, Turkmenistan og Usbekistan – og talte om at sætte en “stor plan” for samarbejde i gang. Tanken er at matche Bælte- og Vej-Initiativet med de specifikke udviklingsvisioner i hvert af landene. For eksempel hedder Turkmenistans udviklingsplan ” Genoplivning af den Store Silkevej”.

I retning af udvikling i Stillehavsområdet fandt der møder sted i Beijing den 22.-25. marts mellem New Zealands udenrigsminister Nanala Mahuta og den kinesiske udenrigsminister Qin Gang og topdiplomat Wang Yi, herunder planer om øget økonomisk aktivitet og drøftelser om stabilitet på øerne i Det Sydkinesiske Hav.

Honduras’ udenrigsminister Eduardo Enrique Reina er i Beijing til møder med henblik på etablering af diplomatiske forbindelser. “Honduras kan ikke forblive på sidelinjen af de fordele, som den nye verdensorden kan medføre”, kommenterede Honduras’ minister for gennemsigtighed Edmundo Orellana om etableringen af forbindelser med Kina, idet han afsluttede anerkendelsen af Taiwan, snarere end Kina. I en tale til Proceso Digital i denne uge påpegede han, at der er ved at blive opbygget en ny verdensorden, hvor Kina spiller en ledende rolle. “Denne beslutning burde have været truffet i begyndelsen af dette århundrede, men muligheden er altid til stede, og forhåbentlig er vi i tide til at tilslutte os denne nye verdensorden”, sagde Orellana til netavisen.

Det møde mellem Brasiliens præsident Lula Inazio de Silva og præsident Xi Jinping, der er planlagt til Beijing den 28. marts, er strategisk yderst vigtigt. Drøftelsen skal bl.a. omfatte Lulas forslag om en ” Fredsklub” af nationer, der skal arbejde for at finde en løsning på Ukraine-konflikten. Dette blev udtrykkeligt taget op i et interview i Londons Financial Times i går med den brasilianske udenrigsminister Mauro Vieira, som sagde: “Vi er meget interesserede i at fremme eller hjælpe med at skabe en form for møde, der kan føre til en fredsproces. Præsidenten har sagt det så mange gange, at han hører meget om krig, men meget få ord om fred. Han er interesseret i fredssamtaler.”

Det blev imidlertid i dag meddelt, at præsident Lula har måttet udsætte sin rejse, fordi han har fået lungebetændelse. Brasilia bekræftede, at hans rejseplaner og møder vil blive omlagt, selv om nogle af de oprindeligt planlagte møder med forretningsfolk og nogle brasilianske embedsmænd vil blive gennemført.

Samtidig forværres den fortsatte blodsudgydelse i Ukraine, faren for en total 3. verdenskrig og risikoen for økonomisk kaos. I Europa fortsætter protestaktionerne mod de forringede leve- og arbejdsvilkår og mod den åbenlyse inkompetence og listighed hos de regerende personer ved magten. I Berlin er der i morgen en usædvanlig skammelig begivenhed: Der vil blive afholdt en folkeafstemning om, hvorvidt man skal godkende, at Tysklands hovedstad skal underlægges det grønne mandat om at være “klimaneutral” inden 2030. Det er en industrifjendtlig, transportfjendtlig og befolkningsfjendtlig politik. Dette trick blev iværksat og kraftigt finansieret af de grønne banksters “specialops”-tænketanke (Sir Michael “no coal” Bloomberg, Mark Carney, World Economic Forum-folket m.fl.). Det er endnu en markering af forsøget på at udslette Tyskland som en suveræn nation, ligesom den terroristiske sprængning af Nord Stream-rørledningen, som Tyskland og Rusland ejer i fællesskab.

Schiller Instituttets internationale konference den 15. april er en vigtig lejlighed til at samle kræfterne for at imødegå og standse disse farlige tiltag ved at udbrede begreberne og dialogen om, hvilke nye foranstaltninger og rammer der er behov for for at fremme økonomisk opbygning og sikkerhed. Global Majority on the Move
March 25, 2023 (EIRNS)—The Global Majority is on the move. This term refers to those nations and billions of people committed to respectful and mutually beneficial development, and who reject the confrontationism of Global NATO. In this new spirit, numbers of concrete actions—projects, conferences and commitments—are taking place.

Sergey Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia, who put the term Global Majority into use recently, wrote an article published this week, addressing the fact that the world lives at a time of “historic geopolitical shifts.” He wrote that this process “puts in place objective factors for the emergence of a new multipolar world order—a more resilient, just, and democratic framework reflecting the natural and inalienable right of every nation to determine its future, as well as choose its own internal and socioeconomic development models.” (https://www.mid.ru/en/foreign_policy/news/1859498/)

Look at initiatives of the nation of Egypt, benefitting its own 104 million people, and as well, the continent of Africa, and the fraught, war-torn Southwest Asia. On March 22 it was announced that Egypt has joined the New Development Bank founded by the BRICS in 2014, a concrete action consistent with BRICS membership to come, perhaps, and also a signal to other nations. The same day, the Suez Canal Authority announced a deal in which a Chinese firm will set up an iron and steel complex in the Suez Development Zone, to manufacture cast iron pipe, a basic industrial capacity for all kinds of infrastructure and manufacturing. It is a $2 billion deal.

Towards Eurasian development, Chinese President Xi Jinping this past week sent invitations out for the first China-Central Asia Summit, to take place in May. He wrote to the leaders of the five nations of the region—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan—speaking in terms of putting a “grand plan” for cooperation in motion. The idea is to match the Belt and Road Initiative with the specific development visions of each of the nations. For example, the Turkmenistan development plan is called, “Revival of the Great Silk Road.”

In the direction of development in the Pacific Rim, meetings took place in Beijing March 22-25 between New Zealand Foreign Minister Nanala Mahuta and Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and top diplomat Wang Yi, including plans for increasing economic activity, and discussions of stability in the South China Sea islands.

The Honduras Foreign Minister Eduardo Enrique Reina is in Beijing for meetings to set up diplomatic relations. “Honduras cannot remain on the sidelines of the benefits which the new world order could bring,” commented Honduran Minister of Transparency Edmundo Orellana on the establishment of relations with China, ending the recognition of Taiwan, rather than China. Speaking to Proceso Digital this week, he pointed out that a new world order is being built in which China plays a leading role. “This decision should have been taken at the beginning of this century, but the opportunity is always there, and hopefully we are in time to join that new world order,” Orellana told the internet daily.

The meeting of Brazilian President Lula Inazio de Silva set for Beijing March 28 with President Xi Jinping is strategically extremely important. The discussion is to include Lula’s proposal for a “peace club” of nations to work to bring about a resolution of the Ukraine conflict. This was addressed explicitly in an interview in London’s Financial Times yesterday, with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, who said, “We are very interested in promoting or helping generate some kind of meeting that would lead to a peace process. The President has said so many times; he hears a lot about war but very few words about peace. He is interested in peace conversations.”

However, it was announced today that President Lula has had to postpone his trip because he has pneumonia. Brasilia confirmed that his travel plans and meetings will be rescheduled, although some of the meetings originally scheduled with businessmen and some Brazilian officials will go ahead.

At the same time, the continuation of bloodshed in Ukraine, the danger of all-out World War III, and the specter of economic chaos are worsening. In Europe, protest actions continue against the deteriorating conditions for living and working, and against the clear incompetence and venality of government figures in power. In Berlin tomorrow is an exceptionally shameful event: There will be a ballot referendum on whether to approve putting the capital of Germany under the green mandate to be “climate neutral” by 2030. This amounts to an anti-industry, anti-transportation, anti-population policy. This ploy was pushed and heavily financed by “special ops” think tanks of the green banksters (Sir Michael “no coal” Bloomberg, Mark Carney, the World Economic Forum crowd, et al.) It is another marker of attempting to obliterate Germany as a sovereign nation, like the terrorist exploding of the Nord Stream pipeline, co-owned by Germany and Russia.

The April 15 international conference of the Schiller Institute is a key occasion of gathering forces to counter and end these dangerous moves, by spreading the concepts and dialogue for what kind of new measures and frameworks are needed to serve economy-building and security.
