28. april, 2018 – Alt imens den indiske premierminister Narendra Modis og den kinesiske præsident Xi Jinpings »uformelle topmøde« i Wuhan, Kina, ikke afstedkom nogen formelle erklæringer, så er resultater blevet bekendtgjort, som inkluderer vigtige forpligtelser. The Hindu rapporterer disse i dag i opsummeret form.

De to nationer vil påtage sig et fælles, økonomisk projekt i Afghanistan, det første samarbejde nogensinde af denne art.

Et samarbejde mellem de to landes militær på direkte niveau vil blive opgraderet.

Det »Tættere Udviklingspartnerskab« mellem Kina og Indien vil blive styrket og involverer økonomisk samarbejde og mellemfolkelige udvekslinger.

Inden for økonomiske relationer vil der komme en satsning på bilateral handel og investering for mere balance mellem nationerne ved at drage fordel af økonomisk komplementaritet.

Begge nationer vil udpege en særlig repræsentant til at spille en rolle i disse funktioner.

Samarbejdet omkring terrorismebekæmpelse vil blive opgraderet.

Begge ledere var enige om værdien af formatet med »uformelt topmøde« og vil fortsætte med at afholde flere sådanne dialoger. Modi har inviteret Xi til Indien for et tilsvarende arrangement i 2019.

Leder fra LaRouchePAC, 29. april, 2018 – Den betagende proces, der er blevet mest synlig i Korea i løbet af de seneste dage – og hvor mange mennesker forventede for blot et par uger siden, at dette ville ske? – er stadig langt fra den totale sejr, som vi kæmper for. Foreløbig er det stadig en forpost, der kæmpes om. Det britiskledede angreb mod Syrien for to uger siden tilsigtede at forhindre dette fremskridt; det påførte det alvorlig skade, og næste gang, hvis vi tillader en ’næste gang’, kan blive langt mere skadelig.

Men, selv som en omstridt forpost, så har det håb, som Korea-forhandlingerne repræsenterer, ikke desto mindre fejet hen over verden med sin inspiration. Det var fuldstændig naturligt, da tusinder af tilhængere ved præsident Trumps møde i Michigan den 28. april, begyndte at synge, »No-bel«, »No-bel!«, da han nævnte Korea. Uanset partitilhørsforhold eller politiske grupperinger, så, for enhver, der har en smule forståelse og moral, kan det ikke slå fejl at finde nogen grad af inspiration fra Korea i dag. Husk, at den erklærede tilstand af fjendtligheder på Koreahalvøen har eksisteret lige siden 1950, hvor verdens befolkningstal blot var 2,5 mia., i sammenligning med nutidens 7,6 mia. mennesker. Kun omkring 7 % af dem, der lever i dag, var overhovedet blevet født, da denne aldrig afsluttede krig begyndte. Og denne Koreakrig indviede denne Kolde Krig, som dominerede resten af det rædselsfulde 20. århundrede. Og på lignende måde understøtter den frosne koreakonflikt stadig væk det britiske imperiesystem med at sætte alle op mod alle, for at opretholde dets verdensherredømme.

Det, der nu er ved at finde sted i Korea, er blevet muligt gennem det fælles og koordinerede arbejde udført af Kina, Japan, Rusland og USA, sammen med de to Korea’er. Det, der til syvende og sidst har gjort dette muligt, er, at Kina, Japan, Rusland og USA alle har gennemgået dybtgående forandringer i løbet af de seneste årtier, som først nu, i dag, har gjort denne form for samarbejde muligt, hvor det tidligere aldrig havde været muligt. Hvad forårsagede disse ændringer? Præsidenterne Xis, Putins og Trumps, samt premierminister Abes nye politikker af? Jovist; men hvad var det, de alle havde til fælles?

Der foreligger en spirituel faktor. Som Douglas MacArthur så viseligt udtrykte det om bord på slagskibet Missouri i Tokyo Bay, »det må være af ånd, hvis vi skal redde kødet«. Lyndon LaRouche refererede til dette i sit banebrydende arbejde fra 2004, The Coming Eurasian World (Den kommende eurasiske verden), hvor han skrev, »Det, der sker, som jeg ofte, endda på nært hold, således i løbet af mit liv har set, er, at udviklingen af en hel kulturs kollektive bevidsthed drives af gnisten fra interventionerne, gennem tvetydighedens slør, fra relativt få genier og fra de unge mennesker, der gentager geniers oplevelse af opdagelse, i deres egen selvudvikling i den tidlige ungdom«. 25. april, 2018 – Præsident Emmanuel Macron adresserede en fælles samling i USA’s Kongres i dag, hvor han både angreb Trump omkring flere spørgsmål og løj, at han havde vundet Trump over til sit syn på andre. Hvad der måske er mere frastødende end Macrons åbenlyse krav om en kolonisering af Mellemøsten, reduktion af CO2 for at redde planeten og bombning af Syrien baseret på britiske løgne, er det faktum, at kongresmedlemmerne, fra begge partier, jublede og udråbte deres støtte til dette nonsens.

Macron angreb grundlæggende set Trump for at skabe frygt og tilbagetrækning fra verden: »Amerikanere og europæere lever i en tid med vrede og frygt under de globale trusler«, sagde han. »Man kan lege med vrede og frygt for en tid. Vrede får os blot til at stivne og svækker os … Vi kan vælge isolationisme, tilbagetrækning og nationalisme … men at lukke døren til verden, vil ikke standse evolutionen i verden.«

Han roste bombningen af Syrien og hævdede fuldstændig utroligt, at det havde »genoprettet det internationale systems troværdighed«.

Han angreb »fake news« for at »underminere vort demokrati« ved at bruge det udtryk, der bruges at dem, der anklager Rusland for at bringe »fake news« til torvs, når det selvfølgelig handler om, at Trump angriber massemedierne i USA og Europa, og ikke Rusland, når han angriber »fake news«.

Macron lød som noget fra Alice i Eventyrland, da han krævede, at verden må forsvare »suverænitet« i Mellemøsten, og forklarede dernæst, at han mente Iran, og ikke briterne, franskmændene og amerikanerne, som bør forblive i Mellemøsten, indtil »vi« får de regeringer, vi ønsker. Iran, på den anden side, må holdes ude af Yemen, Libanon, Irak og Syrien uden at nævne, at Iran er en ven af de suveræne stater Yemen, Libanon, Irak og Syrien, i modsætning til de invaderende, imperialistiske magter fra Vesten.

Men de største og mest entusiastiske bifald og bravoråb kom, da Macron jamrede om, at CO2 ødelagde planeten og ødelagde livet for vore børnebørn. Han hævdede endda, at USA ville erkende sine vildveje og komme kravlende tilbage til Paris-klimaaftalen – eftersom der ikke er noget alternativ, »ingen Planet B«, som han sagde. Han fornærmede Trump ved at vende dennes kampagneslogan på hovedet og sagde, »Lad os arbejde sammen for at gøre vores planet stor igen« – ved at nedlukke menneskeligt fremskridt.

25. april, 2018 – General Sergei Rudskoj, chef for den russiske generalstabs hovedoperative direktorat, citeres af TASS og Sputnik for at hævde, at, baseret på prøver, indsamlet fra stederne, var der ingen kemiske våben hverken på Barzeh forskningscentret eller på Han Shinsar-faciliteten i Syrien, som begge blev ramt af den amerikansk-britisk-franske bombning 14. april.

Ifølge Sputnik meddelte Rudskoj, at delegationen fra Organisationen for Forbud mod Kemiske Våben (OPCW), der besøgte Douma 21. april, bekræftede fraværet af kemiske våben på Barzeh, selvom OPCW ikke selv er kommet med nogen officiel udtalelse. Ifølge OPCW’s webside besøgte organisationen Douma en anden gang i dag, for at indsamle prøver fra et nyt sted, og vil tage dem med tilbage til Holland, hvorfra de vil blive splittet op og sendt til laboratorier, udpeget af OPCW, til analyse.

Den russiske delegation til OPCW har ligeledes informeret OPCW’s tekniske sekretariat om, at de vil holde en briefing for medlemsstater (»statsparter«) i Haag 26. april, hvor syrere vil være til stede for at rapportere om den angivelige Douma-begivenhed. OPCW havde anbefalet, at en sådan briefing fandt sted, når fact-finding missionen (FFM) har fuldført sit arbejde. Rusland sagde, det ikke har til hensigt at blande sig i FFM’s arbejde, men vil gå frem med den planlagte briefing.

I sine bemærkninger understregede gen. Rudskoj, at, havde der været kemiske våben til stede på de udpegede mål, ville de vestlige nationers bombning have dræbt ti tusinder af mennesker med de giftige stoffer, som ville være blevet udløst. Dette skete ikke; faktisk, sagde han, gik folk, der arbejdede på faciliteterne, såvel som forbipasserende, rundt på området uden at bære beskyttelsesudstyr, og ingen blev forgiftet. 24. april, 2018 – EU-kommissionens vicepræsident og høje repræsentant for udenrigs- og sikkerhedspolitik Federica Mogherini har besvaret en forespørgsel fra 20. februar, fra medlem af EU-parlamentet, Marco Zanni (Italien), om Kiev-regimets angreb mod Ukraines Progressive Socialistparti (PSPU), der ledes af Natalia Vitrenko.

Selvom hun udtaler, at hun ikke kan tale om en igangværende retslig procedure, så går Mogherinis svar længere end til blotte formaliteter, og hun udtaler, at hun er bevidst om sagen, og at Ukraine forventes at overholde demokratiske regler, inklusive regler for politiske partier.

»Ukraines Progressive Socialistparti (PSPU) blev etableret i 1996 og har siden da opereret i overholdelse af Ukraines love og Forfatning.

Den Europæiske Union opmuntrer og støtter demokratiske reformers gennemførelse i landet. Med den velfortjente tvivl, der møder hvert eneste strategiske krav, som kommer fra City of London og dets allierede kræfter på Wall Street og i Bruxelles som følge af den igangværende afsløring af deres løgne, f.eks. om »Russiagate« og anvendelsen af »kemiske våben«, er der nu en mulighed uden fortilfælde for at bryde med det Gamle Paradigme på dets svageste flanke, nemlig, at økonomien er stærk og voksende. London-Based Empire Exposed: Door Open for Trans-Atlantic
Economic Change

HARLEY SCHLANGER:  Hello, I’m Harley Schlanger with the
Schiller Institute. Welcome to this week’s international webcast
featuring our founder and chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche.
We’re entering a very intense period of diplomatic activity,
much of it related to the advances of the New Silk Road, although
regrettably some of it is related to efforts to enforce the old
rules of the old paradigm. But I think we should start with
something that was quite interesting that came out of Germany
this week, which is a report by a parliamentary organization on
the illegality of the missile attack on Syria by the United
States, United Kingdom and France.  Helga, what is this committee
that put out this report, and what did they say?

HELGA ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  It is actually something called the
Scientific Research Service [Wissenschaftlichen Dienste] which is
basically experts which advise the Bundestag members on various
issues.  And they issued an opinion on the legality or illegality
of these military strikes against Syria, and they came clearly to
the conclusion that it is a violation of international law.  I
think it’s very important to discuss that: Because while
Chancellor Merkel called these strikes appropriate and necessary,
and Defense Minister Von der Leyen even said it’s a shame that
Germany was not part of it — we just were not asked but in the
future, Germany wants to play a role on a global scale in similar
functions.  And what the Scientific Research Service actually
says is that this action, which was not allowed by the UN
Security Council and is replacing the principle of legality with
a principle of subjective moral legitimacy; that this is actually
in the tradition of the gunboat-type of diplomacy before World
War I, and this also took place in some form between the World
Wars. And actually it was the horrors of World War II which then
caused the international community to establish the presently
existing international law as it is reflected in the UN Charter
and similar documents.
And actually, to abandon that body of law and go back to a
pre-World War I kind of making military strikes as you like it,
is creating a very, very dangerous precedent.  And some other
jurists commented on that, and said, by the same token any state
can attack that model and say “we have some beef with our
neighbors” and make similar military strikes and then you end up
in a completely uncontrollable situation which can quickly lead
to a new world war.
So I would really like to point you, our audience, to this
point, and it’s something we should not just let go, because
international law is something extremely precious.  And it is
also, this military strike would have been completely illegal for
Germany to participate in, because Article 26 of the Grundgesetz,
the Basic Law of Germany, prohibits the preparation of a war of
aggression, and it even says that whoever does that should have
lifelong prison sentence.
This is also violating a UN resolution from 1974, pertaining
to war of aggression.  And I think it is very important that we
not allow the world to drift into a lawless kind of situation
that whoever has the might makes the right, the law of the jungle
and survival of the fittest.  Because this is a very dangerous
path to go. And we should really remind ourselves where wars of
aggression lead to.
This Scientific Research Service also noted the fact that
this military strike was done even before the result of the OPCW
was known, aggravates the case of this violation of international
law.
So I would like to make a very big emphasis on this point,
because obviously, it is very unfortunate that Trump got pulled
into this, and obviously, the danger is, if this is let go, the
danger of a repetition and then things getting really much worse
and going out of control, this danger absolutely exists.  So I
would like you to help us to sharpen a consciousness about it and
obviously, this should be something taken up by the United
Nations based on this resolution from 1974, which I just
mentioned.  I would like you to really give some thought about
it, and not just say, “OK, we’ll just do these things,” because
there are consequences which could mean, in the final analysis,
the end of civilization.

SCHLANGER:  Also speaking of Germany, there was something
interesting on German television which raised questions about the
so-called chemical attack, and I think that’s kind of
interesting.  Is this going to have any effect in the Bundestag?
Is there much discussion of this now, as a result of this report?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  Well, it’s another classical example:  You
had one courageous, or just objective journalist, Uli Gack, who
is the head of ZDF office in Cairo, and he was in Syria.  He
reported from there that he talked to many witnesses in Douma and
around Douma, and that they all said that there was absolutely no
chemical weapons use by the government, but that it was one of
the typical provocations from the jihadists.  And he also, in
this program, which was at prime time on the news, he quoted the
British journalist Robert Fisk from the {Independent}, who had
already made a similar observation which was published in this
newspaper.
So then, all hell broke loose, and the ZDF, the official TV
channel, distanced themselves from this report, and said this is
a “conspiracy theory”  — they didn’t say it, but other media,
{Bildzeitung} and {Focus} magazine said it, they clamped down on
this journalist and forced him to actually not pursue this any
more.  And these other media accused a very normal, actually one
of the more honest journalists, of being a conspiracy theorist.
And it’s a complete, classical example of the kind of
{Gleichschaltung} [“synchronization,” a reference to the Nazi
period] the Western media have these days.
This is not the end of the story, because the OPCW
fact-finding mission returned to Syria, and I think tomorrow
there will be the meeting of the OPCW in The Hague, where the
Russians will basically bring several new Syrian witnesses, to
testify on what they saw.  And we know what the earlier ones had
said, namely, that there was shouting by the jihadists that there
were “chemical weapons!” and then they did the filming and there
was actually nothing happening, except this staged scenario.
This is not the end of the story, but as I said, unless the
truth of this is being uncovered, the danger of a repetition is
absolutely there.

SCHLANGER:  And I think also, to stick with Syria for just a
moment because it’s such a crucial issue, we have the Macron trip
to the United States, where he’s continuing to pull out all the
stops to try and get President Trump to commit the United States
to keeping troops in Syria.  What is it that Macron is doing in
this?  Why is he taking the point on this, Helga?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  It is actually the British policy.  And I
think Macron did not do himself any favor by being the spearhead.
I think he has some idea to position himself as the leader of the
European Union.  He gave a speech to a Joint Session of Congress,
which was absolutely terrible, which was made no milder by the
fact that he got a standing ovation by these Congressmen.  And
obviously, it was a complete attack on what was in the discussion
between Macron and Trump in the days before:  because he attacked
unilateralism, nationalism and obviously all things which were
aimed at the policies of Trump, naturally, he got the support of
the Democrats and the neo-cons and so forth.
I don’t think this will necessarily stick.  The problem is
that Trump does change his views, sometimes rather quickly.  But
after Macron left, I was told that Trump repeated that the aim of
U.S. policy would be to get out of Syria as quickly as possible
after ISIS is defeated.  So I don’t necessarily think that Macon
succeeded.  Even so, it was very clear that he was fully on the
geopolitical old paradigm line; and obviously, he was trying to
also bypass and outflank Merkel, who is arriving for a few hour
visit in the White House, today, actually — the meeting is
tomorrow.
So this was a terrible intervention, and one can only hope
that Trump is not going to be influenced by this, but is looking
forward at his upcoming summit with President Putin, which is
obviously much, much more important than the policy of the
European Union.  And Macron was also mentioning the initiation of
a new grouping which is supposed to be the bridge between the
Geneva process and the Astana process [of peace negotiations in
Syria].  But the European position, as we have seen it in some of
the conferences on the reconstruction of Syria, both the United
States and the EU are not giving any money for the reconstruction
of Syria: only for those areas which are not under the control of
Assad, and obviously the regime change against the Assad
government is still the policy, here, and that is very terrible,
and very bad.

SCHLANGER:  I think it’s worth noting, also, that the U.S.
Ambassador to Moscow Jon Huntsman gave a statement where he
reiterated that President Trump is seeking a détente policy with
Russia, and he’s very much looking forward to the meeting with
Putin.
Now, on the other side, we’re seeing a whole series of
initiatives around the New Silk Road perspective, starting with
the foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization
that were meeting; they have a [heads of state] summit coming on
June 9-10 in China.
You also have developments, which I’d like to get to just
get your thoughts on this, India with China:  Modi is going to
China next week; Japan and China — there’s a whole lot of
activity.  What do you make of all this, Helga?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  Oh, I think that is very, very exciting.  I
was talking to some of my friends in India earlier today to get
their assessment.  And there is clearly a recognition that after
the border crisis in Doklam, between China and India, last year,
that there is a recognition that it is much more in the interests
of the two countries to work together.  Now, I think this is very
good, because there was a danger that Modi would make his next
election campaign on an anti-China profile.  But there will be a
summit in Wuhan between Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi, actually
starting tomorrow and the day after that; and I think one
Professor Zhang Jiadong from Fudan University commented on this
in a very interesting way:  He said, India and China are the only
two countries that belong to the club of nations which have more
than 1 billion people; they are represent together, 40% of the
world population.  They both have continuous, 5,000-year
histories.  They have produced many contributions to world
civilization, and when they work together, being the two largest
countries on the planet, this is of extreme importance.
And the Chinese Foreign Minster Wang Yi said that what will
be discussed between Xi Jinping and Modi is the developments
which occur only once in a century.  And while I’m not sure what
he means exactly by that, I think what it refers to is the
epochal changes of strategic alignment which are going on in Asia
right now, and that is what President Xi Jinping is trying to
accomplish also with the upcoming SCO summit on June 9-10, after
the Belt and Road Initiative and the BRICS countries, now the
SCO, that all of this is supposed to lead to a completely new
model of international relations, of what Xi Jinping always calls
the “shared community for the one future of mankind.”
And I think, given the fact that between Japan and China,
there is a clear rapprochement, and  between Japan and Russia,
you can see clearly that all these Asian countries are seeking a
better way; and even if there are still some obstacles, like the
issue between India and Pakistan, I don’t think has been
resolved; and India’s opposition to the China-Pakistan Economic
Corridor is also not yet resolved; but the more these countries
are moving toward each other — and there was a very interesting
comment in a Chinese article saying that the relations between
China and Japan now could be modeled, or you could use the
parallel of the European Coal and Steel Community in the
beginning of the 1950s, which was France giving the olive branch
to Germany just five years after the Second World War.
Obviously, this is a reference to the past war experience
between China and Japan, and saying that if Germany and France
could settle their problems of world war, so can China and Japan.
I think this is going in a very, very good direction.  And
it shows you one thing very clearly:  That the future of
civilization is in Asia, and any country of the West that wants
to be part of that future, should find a good relation to this
new dynamic, because this is the forward-looking one, and not the
old paradigm as represented by some of these European powers that
just think in terms of the past.

SCHLANGER:  And your husband Lyndon LaRouche emphasized
many, many years ago, that an India-China-Russia relationship
which the U.S. could join, would be the basis of establishing
something totally new in the world.
Now, Helga, you’ve travelled to India and China a number of
times, you’ve met with leaders in both countries.  Is there
anything that you can see that would get in the way of an
improved relationship?  I mean, isn’t this something that,
really, the time has come for this to happen?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  There is a clear understanding that it’s a
strategic necessity for the Asian countries to work together.
Unfortunately, the replacement of Adm. Harry Harris as commander
of the U.S. Pacific Command,  — his name is Adm. Philip Davidson
— he just spoke at confirmation hearings of the Senate Armed
Services Committee, which was a blood-curdling attack on Russia
and China and accusing China of all kinds of things.  So the
geopolitical thinking is not yet gone. And one could actually say
that this idea of a China-Russia-India alliance was furthered by
the behavior of the neo-cons, the Iraq War, the Afghanistan
intervention, the Libya attack; so I think these countries moved
together much more quickly than they would have normally done, as
a result of these policies of the Bush-Obama-Blair-Cameron-May
kind of policies.
And, you know, OK, you can always have a terrible incident
like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, or some other pretext to cause
a new crisis; this is why I think the discussion of the legality
of these military strikes needs to be internationally discussed;
but I think if you look at the intention of the Chinese
leadership, of the Russian leadership, and as it now hopefully
looks like, also, Modi — and Japan — they are moving clearly
into a New Paradigm. And I think the New Silk Road Spirit has
caught on.  The countries of Asia have understood that this is
the moment in history where we need a completely new set of
relations if mankind is supposed to get into safe waters and have
a bright future.
I am optimistic, I’m very optimistic.  And also, with the
summit tomorrow between Kim Jong-un and President Moon Jae-in of
South Korea, this also looks very good.  And if it’s any
reflection, the head of the Olympic Committee Thomas Bach said
that he talked to both the South Korean and North Korean
governments and that they had clear intentions to join the next
Olympics and even have a joint team again. And he says, from his
discussion, he’s extremely optimistic about the intention of
these two governments.
So if you look at all of these developments, I think it is
actually very good, and some of these geopoliticians probably
will never change, because they cannot imagine that mankind can
growth out of the old kind of pettiness and rivalry and
competition; and that a New Paradigm of win-win cooperation is
actually possible.  But if the majority of mankind is moving in
this direction, I’m very confident and hopeful that this New
Paradigm will prevail.

SCHLANGER:  President Trump had a little bit of fun with
this, when he made fun of the media for saying that there would
never be any progress with North Korea.  And he said, look, you
don’t know what’s going to happen — it may not work, but he’s
very happy with the response from Kim Jong-un.  And then he just
sent a team to China to discuss the trade agreement which
includes the top trade officials.  And what he said, which I
think shapes their outlook, is that he has great respect for Xi
Jinping and a great friendship.  Do you have any thoughts on what
might happen with these discussions going on between the U.S. and
China?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  That’s difficult, you know, because I think
from the Chinese side, you have Vice Premier Liu He, who is the
most important economic advisor of Xi Jinping.  And he has been
elevated recently into the Politburo and the State Council; he
will represent the potential of the Belt and Road Initiative.  On
the side of the American delegation, for sure Mnuchin — we had
criticism of him, and [U.S. Trade Representative] Lighthizer also
has not exactly been on the line of what Trump’s election
promises really were; even so, he has mentioned the American
System at one point.
I don’t know. I would imagine that China will propose the
way to overcome the trade deficit, in the way Wang Yi, the
Foreign Minister, had suggested; and also, Prime Minister Li
Keqiang — namely, that other than tariffs, you could also
increase the trade between the two countries, and have joint
ventures in third countries; and in that way, balance the trade
deficit by just increasing the trade.  And I would imagine that
the Chinese, for sure, will reiterate this proposal.  Then, how
these two or four delegates from the United States (it’s not so
clear) will respond, we don’t know.  One can only hope they
recognize the potential that American industries would benefit
greatly from participating in such joint ventures in third
countries along the Belt and Road.  And naturally, U.S.-Chinese
relations could also benefit a lot, if the United States would
allow Chinese investments in the buildup of U.S. infrastructure.
Now, we have to see how that develops.  I’m optimistic that
the Chinese will not miss the opportunity to make such proposals,
and that is why the Schiller Institute is so important, that we
make these ideas more known inside the United States, so that
more and more people recognize the potential which would lie in
the U.S.-China cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative.  So
you should join the Schiller Institute and help us to make these
ideas more known.

SCHLANGER:  We do know there’s support for expansion of
U.S.-China trade, at least in states such as Alaska, West
Virginia;  Houston, Texas, where there have been delegations to
China and from China to the United States, to talk about specific
investments.
While we’re talking about investments, we have to pick up
this whole question of the financial crisis, which we should
never lose sight of:  because behind the whole strategic
confrontation is the collapse of this financial system, which is
being held together by unbelievable amounts of new funny-money
and fake credit which is just building up debt.
Helga, there were more warnings coming out from the U.S.
Federal Reserve, a couple of officials.  There’s talk about the
interest rate problem, a shakeup at Deutsche Bank.  What do you
see on this financial picture:  It’s really quite shaky and it
seems like now is the time there should be a new concerted effort
around your husband’s basic Four Laws.

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  Well, it’s the strategic powder keg we are
sitting on.  If one of the three governors of the Federal Reserve
is already warning that the wave of corporate insolvencies, which
has increased over last year by 60%, is so severe that it could
cause a new banking crisis.  Well, the Fed is not known to make
alarmist statements, but they generally use a language to calm
down the markets and respect the so-called “psychology of the
markets.”  So if such a warning comes from the Fed, it should be
really taken seriously.
And you know, there are also new articles about Deutsche
Bank — the IMF called Deutsche Bank the riskiest bank in the
world.  They have 42 trillion in derivatives contracts
outstanding!  Now, some of these contracts balance each other
out, so it may not be 42 trillion, but this is 15 times the
German GDP, so this not a small amount. And one day, we could
wake up, or in the middle of the day, have a complete repetition
of 2008, on a much larger scale.
Obviously, we need the Four Laws of my husband Lyndon
LaRouche, and especially, the emphasis should be not only on
Glass-Steagall, a National Bank, credit system, but especially on
the fourth law:  Because unless you have a complete push for
innovation and qualitative breakthroughs in applying new
universal principles in the economic platform, as my husband as
discussed it in many of his writings, you will not pull out the
terrible shape of the economies of the trans-Atlantic system,
especially in the United States, Southern Europe — I mean, there
are some real problem cases where you need an emphasis on such
things as thermonuclear fusion, space cooperation, and apply the
most advanced new physical principles in the economy, if you want
to save the situation.
And that is not being discussed in any way or shape in
Europe or in the United States, so let’s just really emphasize
that, and help us to make the mobilization for the implementation
of these Four Laws, not only in the United States but also in
Europe.  The country which is closest to that is China:  Xi
Jinping just met with an economic group, and, again, emphasized
the need to warn and safeguard China against financial risk.  And
China is obviously de-emphasizing any kind of speculative
activity.  But Wall Street and the City of London are very far
from such reason in their practice.

SCHLANGER:  I was just reviewing some reports over the last
couple of days on this, and one of the things that many
economists do acknowledge, is that with all the pep talk about
how great the economy is doing, that there’s wage stagnation, the
lowest labor participation rate level in four decades; and then,
they always come back to this question of productivity — there’s
no productivity gains. And what you just said, the Chinese
clearly have a sense of what happened with the United States with
NASA under John Kennedy: Their space program is oriented toward
the highest technology, the rail system and so on. And it seems
as though this should be a no-brainer for people in the United
States, just to look at our own history, and realize that this
works.
So, just to reiterate what Helga Zepp-LaRouche said, the
Schiller Institute is mobilizing internationally for the Four
Laws, but especially at this point in time, we’ve got to get
President Trump to go back to his thinking from his campaign,
both about the alliance with Russia and China; but also about
support for Glass-Steagall and a real infrastructure program.
And Helga, just to finish this, we’ve seen the Congress
complete botch any effort by the President to get an
infrastructure plan going.  Do you think this would be an
obviously winning strategy for anybody, to go into the 2018
election with a real infrastructure plan?

ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  Well, I think that the dynamic which is
taking place in Asia right now, which we mentioned earlier, I
mean, this will shape history for the better.  I’m absolutely
convinced that what is happening between China and Africa, China
and Latin America, China and Eurasia, many European nations are
already completely onboard the New Silk Road development in terms
of infrastructure:  The Eastern European, the Central European
countries, the Balkans, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria,
Switzerland — all of these countries — even Belgium and
Holland, the Scandinavian countries, they all have recognized the
great potential in the infrastructure cooperation of the New Silk
Road.  And I think right now, the biggest problem in some
countries, like Germany and the United States, is the fact that
the mass media have not given justice to what is actually
happening:  You have the largest infrastructure program in
history which is already — people debate whether it’s 12 times
or 20 times the size of the Marshall Plan, but it’s open ended!
It’s a complete transformation of the planet, where obviously,
our vision, “The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge,” is
being realized by the majority of nations, absolutely, with a
fast speed.
And people are trying to sit on that and play the old
geopolitical games, by saying this is just an effort by China to
take over the world — I mean, that is just — first of all, it’s
not true, and why would all these countries, would they not be
happy to overcome poverty, underdevelopment, and so naturally
they go for this.
And right now, the biggest problem is that the average
people in Europe and in the United States just do not know this
scope of the changes taking place in the world right now.  So I
can only say:  Help us to spread these ideas.  Because we are, as
a humanity, really facing a test.  If we continue moving NATO to
the Russian border, having a race for new weapons, which is still
the danger, because this new Pacific Command commander Philip
Davidson, he just said China is ahead in certain areas, and now
the U.S. has to catch up with hypersonic weapons, and cyber
weapons, and whatnot:  I mean, we have to get rid of that kind of
thinking!
And just think, if the previous administrations of the
United States wasted $7 trillion on wars in the Middle East and
in North Africa, which have just caused misery, cost millions of
people’s lives, have caused a refugee crisis — can you not just
think of investing that kind of money in infrastructure, in the
common good of the people, in education?  Give people a sense of
the future and hope, inspire young people to not have the drug
epidemics destroy their minds, raising the suicide rates,
violence.  You know, don’t you think it’s time that mankind
should really move into a new Renaissance and work together as a
human species?
And I think this is what’s happening.  So let’s reach out to
more countries and more layers in the countries of the West, to
understand what this New Silk Road Spirit is all about.
So again, join the Schiller Institute and help us to spread
these ideas.

Leder fra LaRouchePAC, 25. april, 2018 – Hvis man troede på, at præsident Trump accepterede den franske præsident Emmanuel Macrons fantasmer for den samlede amerikanske Kongres i dag, så ville man acceptere, at Trump skulle være rede til at underkaste nationen Det britiske Imperiums kollapsende, gamle paradigme. Macron, der tydeligvis talte for Imperiet (som franskmændene plejer at gøre) opførte sig, som om Trump havde aftalt med ham, at USA skulle forblive i Syrien som en besættelsesmagt; at Trump snart ville vende USA tilbage til den fascistiske, grønne Paris-aftale om afindustrialisering af verden for at »redde planeten«[1] og at, når Trump taler om »fake news«, mener han russerne.

Pardon, Monsieur, men det britiske kupforsøg mod vores præsident er endnu ikke lykkedes; faktisk er det i store vanskeligheder, med MI6-agent Christopher Steele og hans amerikanske medskyldige i Obamas efterretningssamfund og i Obamas Udenrigsministerium, der selv står over for retsforfølgelse for kriminelle handlinger. Medlem af Repræsentanternes Hus for Californien, Devin Nunes, har, med sit formandsskab for Husets Efterretningskomites efterforskning af anklagerne bag Russiagate-fupnummeret, fastslået, at »der ikke var nogen officiel efterretning, der blev brugt til at indlede denne efterforskning«. Det var snarere alt sammen britiske løgne, der blev bragt til torvs i massemedierne som »fake news« – som Trump korrekt har fremført og gentagent fordømt.

Monsieur Macron fik, desværre, en heltemodtagelse af de korrupte medlemmer af USA’s Kongres, der stod op og applauderede og højlydt jublede, da Macron sagde, at menneskeheden var i færd med at ødelægge denne planet; at CO2 ødelagde ethvert håb for vore børnebørn; at »der er ikke nogen Planet B«, og at »vi må arbejde sammen for at gøre planeten stor igen«. Prins Philip kunne ikke have sagt det mere diabolsk.

Men Trump har hidtil ikke kapituleret over for dem, der truer ham, og som forlanger, at han opgiver sine løfter til det amerikanske folk, der skaffede ham valgsejren. Trump lægger skylden for »fake news« på USA’s og UK’s pressehorer, ikke Rusland. Han hævder, at udvikling er vigtigere end klimaforandringens falske videnskab. Han insisterer på, at USA må blive venner med Rusland. Han annoncerede ligeledes tirsdag, at han sender sit økonomiske team til Kina, hvor »vi har en virkelig god mulighed for at indgå en aftale« med Xi Jinping, som er »en fantastisk fyr og én af mine venner«.

Det er præcis dette, som briterne og deres aktiver i USA, såvel som i Frankrig, er desperate for at forhindre. Der er et potentiale for, at der i USA og Europa skabes en massebevægelse imod den imperiale krigspolitik, der drives frem af britiske løgne. Folk reflekterer nu over Tony Blairs eventyr for børn om masseødelæggelsesvåben i Irak, som lancerede de seneste 15 års blodbad og ødelæggelser i hele Mellemøsten, og som atter drev skabelsen af udstrakte terroristnetværk med grobund i de befolkninger, der var mål for denne destruktion, og ligeledes var det, der drev millioner af desperate flygtninge, som således bragte kaos i Europa. En tysk, parlamentarisk komite fastslog 20. april, at det britiskanstiftede missilangreb mod Syrien var »en overtrædelse af folkeretten«, selv om den ynkelige kansler Angela Merkel kaldte det for »nødvendigt og passende«. Verden må i sandhed sige »aldrig mere« til det britiske imperie-krigsparti.

Verden må ligeledes sige »ja« til den Nye Silkevej som det eneste alternativ til diktater fra ’the lords’ fra finanscentrene i City of London og Wall Street, som ikke vil sky noget middel for at redde deres bankerotte system for storstilet spekulation og ditto svindel. De er helt villige til at løbe risikoen for en global krig for at forhindre USA i at gå sammen med Kina og 140 andre nationer, der nu ser en vej ud af nedskæringer og krig gennem det Nye Paradigme, der udtrykkes gennem Kinas Bælte & Vej Initiativ. Den indiske premierminister Narendra Modi rejser til Kina i denne uge med den hensigt at bringe Indien ind i et samarbejde med Kina og Rusland i det globale udviklingsalternativ. Hvis præsident Trump bringer USA ind i et fuldt og helt samarbejde i den Nye Silkevej, ville dette komplettere »firemagtsalliancen«, som Lyndon LaRouche længe har promoveret som den kraft, der er nødvendig for at gøre en ende på Det britiske Imperium.

Ved at forene Øst og Vest, kan vi for altid afskaffe imperiepolitikken med sin »del og hersk«, og menneskeracen kan gå fremefter med opbygningen af en fremtid for menneskehedens fælles mål. Der er intet valg, og dette er et dyrebart mulighedens øjeblik, vi ikke må forpasse.

Leder fra LaRouchePAC, 24. april, 2018 – Kina sætter kraftigt ind for at sikre, at det forestående topmøde i Shanghai Samarbejdsorganisationen (SCO) i Qindao i juni måned bliver til endnu et vendepunkt i skabelsen af et nyt, globalt paradigme, som vil begrave både britisk geopolitik og dens spejlbillede, det bankerotte transatlantiske finanssystem. I løbet af de seneste par år har den kinesiske præsident Xi Jinping haft held til at bruge topmøderne i Bælte & Vej Initiativet (BVI), G20 og BRIKS til at lancere og konsolidere nye, betydningsfulde, konceptuelle initiativer for dette nye paradigme, til Londons absolutte rædsel.

Dette bliver det første SCO-møde, hvor Indien og Pakistan er fuldgyldige medlemmer. Splittelsen mellem disse to lande har været en grundpille i britisk geopolitisk manipulation og provokation i årtier. Endnu vigtigere er det, at britisknærede spændinger mellem Indien og Kina – inklusive Indiens hidtidige uvilje mod at tilslutte sig BVI – fik et kraftigt skud for boven tidligere på ugen med meddelelsen om, at Kinas præsident Xi Jinping og Indiens premierminister Narendra Modi vil holde et uformelt møde den 27.-28. april i Wuhan, Kina. Talsmand for det Kinesiske Udenrigsministerium kommenterede optimistisk det »evige venskab« mellem de to gigantnationer og erklærede, at, i lyset af den »åbenlyse tendens mod destabilisering og usikkerhed« på internationalt plan, vil Xi-Modi-topmødet »afstikke kursen, opsætte nye mål og bryde ny jord for bilaterale bånd … [og] ligeledes bidrage til regional fred og udvikling«.

En kronik om topmødet af professor Zhang Jiadong fra Fudan Universitet i Global Times 23. april var strategisk præcis: »Kina og Indien behøver stadig strategisk enhed for at omforme den gamle, internationale, politiske og økonomiske orden … Som de to ældste civilisationer i menneskets historie, … deler Kina og Indien en vision for fremtiden og vore historiske forpligtelser«.

Disse asiatiske udviklinger, sammen med Japans erklærede hensigt om at samarbejde tæt med Kina om Bælte & Vej, er på dramatisk vis i færd med at forskyde hele den globale dynamik i retning af det nye paradigme. Som Helga Zepp-LaRouche i dag udtalte: »Det forestående topmøde mellem Modi og Xi er potentielt et absolut gennembrud. De udgør de to ældste civilisationer, hver 5000 år eller mere, og de repræsenterer 40 % af verdens befolkning. Og, hvis de kommer sammen, og med Japans nye fokusering på Kina og Rusland – se blot på situationen! Det er Asien, der tæller. På den anden side har vi det absolut impotente, gamle paradigme, der repræsenteres af Macron og Merkel, som forsøger at overbevise Trump om at forblive i deres gamle verdens lejr.

»Det er meget klart: kampen står mellem USA’s tilslutning til dem og Det britiske Imperium, eller tværtimod til Putin og Xi. Hvis de fire vigtigste nationer – Rusland, Kina, Indien og USA, dvs., Lyndon LaRouches Firemagtskoncept – vinder, står verden på sikker grund.«

Zepp-LaRouche fortsatte med at sige, at verden i løbet af de kommende par måneder vil gå ind i en periode med meget dramatiske ændringer, en periode fra april til juni med global omgruppering. Der er det diskuterede Trump-Putin-møde; Trumps forhandlinger med Nordkoreas Kim Jong-un; det planlagte SCO-topmøde; og mere endnu. Zepp-LaRouche talte til sine medaktivister i LaRouche-bevægelsen internationalt:

»Det er vigtigt, når vi sidder i disse gamle paradigme-lande, at vi så ikke lader os blive influeret af omgivelserne, og at vi ikke går med på den daglige mediedæknings op- og nedture, som ikke er andet end psykologisk krigsførelse mod befolkningens intellekt. Vi må placere os selv fermt i det nye paradigme og indtage den højeste moralske og intellektuelle standard.«

Tag folk ud af den angst og impotens, de føler, sagde Zepp-LaRouche, og løft dem op til det højeste niveau, til det stadium, hvor virkelig historie skabes. Vis dem, at verden kan sættes på ret køl – men kun gennem at fungere på det ophøjedes niveau.

24. april, 2018 – Tirsdagens fælles pressekonference mellem præsidenterne Donald Trump og Emmanuel Macron startede en time for sent. Begge talte om deres store venskab og deres lange samtale i det Ovale Kontor; Macron kyssede Trump på kinden under ét af flere hjertelige håndtryk mellem de to, og han svingede sin arm op på Trumps skulder, da de forlod podiet. Hvad de faktisk aftalte, ud over betydningen af det tidlige morgenangreb på Syrien den 14. april, er imidlertid fortsat uvist.

Konfronteret med præsident Trumps insisteren på, at han vil trække de amerikanske tropper ud af Syrien, sendte briterne den unge, franske præsident ind for at forsøge at bruge det fælles amerikansk-britisk-franske militære angreb mod Syrien som en løftestang for på en eller anden måde at lænkebinde den amerikanske præsident til en ny variant af deres endeløse, geopolitiske krige i Mellemøsten ved at spille op til hans »Iran er fjenden«-profil for at sælge det.

Macron talte om »humanitær lov« og anti-kemiske våben, men han fokuserede på »fire søjler« i en plan for Mellemøsten, hvor Iran er målet, og som han lagde frem på bordet. De første tre søjler relaterer til at sikre, at Irans atomprogram afsluttes permanent, og at dets ballistiske missilkapacitet fjernes. Den fjerde søjle er den afgørende: at skabe betingelserne for at begrænse Iran i området (han specificerede Yemen, Libyen og Syrien). Sidstnævnte kræver, sagde han, en politisk afgørelse på lang sigt for Syrien, som garanterer, at Syrien ikke falder ind under noget »overherredømme«, og at beslutninger om Syriens politiske fremtid vil blive udarbejdet af Europa, USA og regionale magter, med selv Rusland og Tyrkiet som en del af den regionale pakke. Forespurgt, om amerikanske tropper må forblive i Syrien under en politisk overgang, svarede den franske præsident, at »vi vil« (!) vurdere sådanne behov i de kommende måneder, baseret på omstændighederne på jorden.

De kloge hoveder vil nu utvivlsomt være travlt optaget af at forsøge at fortolke præsident Trumps bemærkninger for at afgøre, hvad hans faktiske planer er – en notorisk upålidelig praksis. Han sagde, at han og Macron aftalte, at vi ikke kan efterlade Middelhavet uden sikkerhed, og at der kræves en meget stærk blokade mod, at Iran når frem til Middelhavet. Han udtalte desuden med eftertryk, at de »ekstremt rige« lande i Mellemøsten, som USA har beskyttet gratis – og I ved, hvem jeg mener, sagde han – må betale for dette og sætte deres egne soldater på jorden for at håndhæve det. (Saudi-Arabien skal være blandt dem, Trump har i tankerne.) USA har fået mindre end intet ud af de $7 billion, det har brugt i Mellemøsten i årenes løb, fortsatte han, men når vi ønsker at bygge hovedveje, tunneller og skoler i USA, siger folk, »åh, vi må udvise forsigtighed mht., hvordan vi bruger vores penge«. Dernæst gentog Trump, at ISIS stort set er udslettet i Irak og Syrien; at han har til hensigt at trække USA ud af Syrien, og at vi meget snart vil træffe »nogle meget store beslutninger«.

En overordnet fredsaftale haster virkelig i Sydvestasien. Ideer, der imidlertid er gennemførlige, til sikring af dette, såsom at forene folkeslagene omkring den udvikling, som den Nye Silkevej ville bringe, kunne meget vel fremkomme af det meget nødvendige topmøde mellem præsidenterne Trump og Putin.

Med den velfortjente tvivl, der møder hvert eneste strategiske krav, som kommer fra City of London og dets allierede kræfter på Wall Street og i Bruxelles som følge af den igangværende afsløring af deres løgne, f.eks. om »Russiagate« og anvendelsen af »kemiske våben«, er der nu en mulighed uden fortilfælde for at bryde med det Gamle Paradigme på dets svageste flanke, nemlig, at økonomien er stærk og voksende. I virkeligheden er det eneste, der vokser, faren for et nyt blowout, med daglige advarsler om problemer i bank- og finanssystemet som følge af en uerholdelig boble, bestående af alle former for gæld. Det var et lignende sammenløb af dårlig gæld og oppustet gearing, der førte til Lyndon LaRouches profetiske advarsel i juli 2007 om et uundgåeligt, forestående blowout af finanssystemet, på et tidspunkt, hvor konsensus var, at økonomien er »stærk«.

Med fremkomsten af en model, der promoverer reel, fysisk vækst i økonomien gennem udvidelsen af Kinas Bælte & Vej Initiativ (BVI), har Schiller Instituttets præsident Helga Zepp-LaRouche understreget, at tiden nu er inde til, at det økonomiske program, som hendes mand har udviklet, kendt som »LaRouches Fire Love«, bliver gennemført. Leder fra LaRouchePAC, 23. april, 2018 – Med den britiske May-regerings udbrud om tvivlsomme anklager om kemiske våben og krav om krig og konfrontation med Rusland, står lederne af de nationer, der er mest afgørende for fremtidigt, menneskeligt fremskridt, over for at skulle træffe et valg.

Briterne kræver en ny Kold Krig, eller det, der er værre, med ikke alene Rusland, men også Kina. De nationer, vi længe har identificeret som nøglen til en bedre fremtid for menneskeheden, hvis de går i samarbejde – USA, Kina, Rusland og Indien – har fået det nye paradigme for dette samarbejde i form af Kinas Bælte & Vej Initiativ, et potentielt globalt program for store projekter for ny infrastruktur.

Præsident Donald Trump er under trussel om at blive tvunget ud af embedet af angreb, oprindeligt sat i værk af britisk efterretning, pga. hvert eneste træk, han udfører hen imod samarbejde, eller blot forhandling, med præsident Vladimir Putins Rusland. Og Indiens premierminister Narendra Modi for hvert træk, han udfører, for at vende tilbage til et samarbejde med Kina.

Briterne har, tilskyndet af deres saudiske allierede og af Frankrig, været drivkraften bag hver eneste af de katastrofale og evindelige krige for »regimeskifte«, der har ødelagt Sydvestasien, fra Irak til Libyen til Syrien og Yemen. EIR’s stiftende redaktør Lyndon LaRouche udtalte efter mordet på Muammar Gaddafi i 2011, at det var briternes mål at få USA ind i en konfrontation med Rusland; og dette står nu klart for alle.

For at træffe dette valg – og for at vælge det nye paradigme for fremskridt, som Bælte & Vej repræsenterer – må disse nationers lederskab virkelig vende sig mod LaRouches forslag. Søndag sagde den yemenitiske regering i Sana’as udenrigsminister, Hisham Sharaf, »Jeg vil gerne personligt gøre honnør for fr. Helga Zepp-LaRouche, præsident for Schiller Instituttet, og som gør en stor indsats i sin kampagne for solidaritet med os her i Sana’a, og som kræver en standsning af den militære aggression, genopbygning af Yemen og at gøre Yemen til en perle i den Nye Silkevejs og Verdenslandbroens perlekæde«.

I USA udgøres LaRouches foreslåede »Fire økonomiske love for at redde nationen« af 1) en opbrydning af Wall Street-bankerne; 2) dannelse af en national kreditinstitution; 3) investering af denne kredit i den mest produktive, højteknologiske, nye infrastruktur; og 4) programmer som under »Apollo-projektet«, for at genoplive rumforskning og udvikling af fusionskraft.

Vi må vende os mod disse handlinger for at afslutte et årtis stagnation, der begyndte med G20-mødet i 2009 i London, hvor en politik for centralbankernes ubegrænsede bail-out af storbankerne i London og på Wall Street blev vedtaget af Barack Obama, arm i arm med premierminister Gordon Brown.

Dette forår har gjort det klart, at den alternative politik, som endda truer med atomkrig med Rusland og Kina, kommer fra London. Det er briterne, dumme!

23. april, 2018 – Den russiske udenrigsminister Sergei Lavrov, der talte på en pressekonference i Beijing, kom med en meget stærk erklæring, der stærkt kritiserede USA, UK og Frankrig for at torpedere fredsprocessen med deres missilangreb mod Syrien, 13.-14. april. »Vi er meget bekymrede over udviklingerne i Syrien, for, på et tidspunkt, hvor der kom store gennembrud, ikke alene i kampen mod ISIS, men også i kampen mod de tilbageværende terrorister – det østlige Ghouta blev befriet for terrorister, og ægte muligheder blev skabt for lancering af en forfatningskommission i overensstemmelse med de beslutninger, der blev truffet på Kongressen for en Syrisk Nationaldialog i Sotji – da var det, at en provokation blev iscenesat under påskud af anvendelse af kemiske våben«, citeres Lavrov af TASS. »Jeg mener, det bør stå alle upartiske iagttagere klart, at dette tilsigtede at afbryde OPCW’s efterforskning og underminere den positive retning, som var ved at vinde fodfæste, først og fremmest takket være aktiviteterne fra garantlandenes side i Astana-processen.«

23. april, 2018 – Tysklands nationale offentlige Tv-kanal ZDF sendte en rapport fra sin korrespondent i Douma, 22. april, om, at det »kemiske angreb« dér ansås for at være falsk. Uli Gack, ZDF-seniorkorrespondent, interviewede mange øjenvidner om det angivelige kemiske angreb den 7. april i Douma.

ZDF’s førende nyhedsprogram, »Heute« (»I dag«), rapporterede, »Verden er stadig forvirret over, om forbudte kemiske våben blev brugt i Douma. ZDF-korrespondent Uli Gack i Syrien for os: ’Du var i en stor flygtningelejr i dag og talte med en masse mennesker – hvad hørte du om angrebet dér?’ Gack svarede, ’Det kemiske angreb i Douma er sandsynligvis iscenesat, synes mange mennesker her at være overbevist om’«, iflg. en rapport fra Zero Hedge i går.

Zero Hedge dækker også rapporten fra den britiske journalist og mellemøstenspecialist Robert Fisk, der den 17. april skriver for The Independant: »Der er mange mennesker, jeg talte med midt i ruinerne af byen, som sagde, de aldrig havde troet på gas-historierne – som sædvanligvis sættes i omløb, hævdede de, af de væbnede, islamistiske grupper«. Fisk, der går ind for regimeskifte, beskriver, at han var chokeret over sine egne resultater om det forfalskede kemiske angreb.

Gack rapporterede yderligere til ZDF, at grunden til, at inspektørerne fra Organisationen for forbud mod kemiske våben (OPCW) blev holdt tilbage fra at komme ind i Douma, kunne have været, at området stadig var delvist kontrolleret af terroristerne og måtte anses for usikkert. I realiteten erklærede OPCW selv, da det forlod Douma, at forsinkelsen – på næsten en uge – skete pga., at FN-teamet tjekkede områdets sikkerhed, og pga. FN-folk, der tilbageholdt tilladelsen til, at OPCW kunne gå ind i Douma.

Det er ganske forbløffende, men der er flere og flere lande, regeringer og også politiske kræfter, der taler offentligt imod det faktum, at mange af disse britiske operationer var orkestreret. For blot at nævne den seneste af disse: den britiske regerings og MI6’s rolle i Russiagate er helt fremme i rampelyset; dernæst stilles der nu også spørgsmål om hele Skripal-affæren mht. hvem, det var, der virkelig udførte angrebet; og dernæst, selvfølgelig, de seneste militære angreb på baggrund af Assad-regeringens angivelige brug af kemiske våben, og som nu også falder fra hinanden. Jeg mener, der er en voksende bevidsthed om, at der i realiteten kun er ét land, der er på krigsstien imod Rusland og, på trods af ’søde’ ord, følgelig også imod Kina. Det er en meget vigtig vending i sagen.

Sammenlign nu begge disse tekster med den gentagent erklærede, britiske politik for at ødelægge Donald Trumps præsidentskab, hvor denne politiks mest skamløse trussel kom i en artikel af BBC-journalist Paul Wood, udgivet i londonavisen Spectator 21. januar, 2017 – dagen efter Donald Trumps indsættelse – under hovedoverskriften, »Vil Donald Trump blive myrdet, afsat ved et kup eller simpelt hen afsat gennem en rigsretssag?«

Med alt dette, der står fuldstændig klart for jeres indre øje – og som får yderligere kraft gennem bevidstheden om, at Kina og Rusland begge har handlet for at erstatte det bankerotte Britiske Imperium med et Nyt Paradigme – opfordrer vi jer, damer og herrer i læserskarens internationale jury, til at handle i overensstemmelse hermed.

21. april, 2018 – Efter et plenarmøde i det regerende Arbejderpartis Centralkomite annoncerede den nordkoreanske leder Kim-Jong-un, at hans land stopper alle atomtests og missiltests, rapporterede Sydkoreas Yonhap-nyhedstjeneste, og TASS. »Fra og med 21. april stopper Nordkorea atomtests og lancering af interkontinentale ballistiske missiler«, citerer Yonhap en erklæring fra Nordkoreas officielle KCNA nyhedstjeneste. »Nordkorea vil også lukke atomtestområdet i landets nordlige del for at bekræfte sin forpligtelse over for at stoppe atomtests.«

Ifølge erklæringen sagde Kim: »Indefrysning af atomtests er en vigtig proces for den globale atomnedrustning, og Nordkorea tilslutter sig den internationale bestræbelse for fuldt og helt at stoppe atomtests.

Vi vil aldrig bruge atomvåben, hvis der ikke er nogen atomtrussel eller provokationer mod vort land. Vi vil under alle omstændigheder ikke overføre atomvåben eller atomvåbenteknologi [til andre stater]«, lyder erklæringen fra KCNA. »Vi vil fokusere vore bestræbelser på at skabe en stærk, socialistisk økonomi og på at mobilisere folk og materielle resurser til en skarp stigning i folkets levestandard.

Med det formål at opbygge en socialistisk økonomi, vil vi skabe favorable, internationale betingelser og aktivere en tæt dialog med nabostater og det internationale samfund, med det formål at beskytte freden på Koreahalvøen, og på hele planeten.«

Den amerikanske præsident Donald Trumps respons var at kalde det »gode nyheder«. »Nordkorea har indvilget i at suspendere alle atomvåbentests og lukke et vigtigt testområde. Dette er meget gode nyheder for Nordkorea, og for verden – stort fremskridt! Se frem til vores topmøde«, sagde Trump i et twitterudlæg.

Kinas Udenrigsministerium kom i dag med en erklæring, der roste Nordkoreas beslutning. »Nordkorea har besluttet at stoppe atomtests og missiltests og fokusere på økonomisk vækst og forbedring af befolkningens velfærd; vi hilser denne beslutning velkommen«, sagde talsmand for Udenrigsministeriet Lu Kang i erklæringen. Han sagde yderligere, at det ville være med til at forbedre situationen på Koreahalvøen, dæmpe spændinger og promovere atomafrustning.

Den japanske premierminister Shinzo Abe udstedte ligeledes en erklæring, der roste beslutningen og sagde: »Dette er et skridt fremad. Jeg hilser den velkommen«, iflg. Kyodo nyhedstjeneste. Han konkluderede, at slutmålet fortsat var en »komplet, bekræftet og uafvendelig« nedtagning af Nordkoreas atomvåben og ballistiske våben og masseødelæggelsesvåben.

Vært Matthew Ogden: Som I ser her på skærmen, er titlen på aftenens udsendelse »Storbritanniens forbrydelser er afsløret!«. Som Helga Zepp-LaRouche forudsagde for et par uger siden, så er, med hele litaniet af svindelnumre, der nu er afsløret som totale løgne, fra det ubekræftede og slibrige Christopher Steele-dossier, som er så centralt for Russiagate-operationen her i USA, til den angivelige Skripal-forgiftning i England og frem til Assads såkaldte angreb på sit eget syriske folk med »kemiske våben«, briterne kommet i front og centrum. Som Helga Zepp-LaRouche sagde, »briterne er gået for vidt, og maskerne vil snart falde«. Det var, hvad hun forudsagde. Hun forudsagde, at bagslaget fra disse operationer ville være så stort, at Det britiske Imperiums perfiditet snart ville stå afsløret, for hele verden at beskue.

Vi er nu her i dag, og vi har nu nået dette punkt. Husk, at, på præcis den samme aften for Donald Trumps ukloge beslutning om at foretage luftangrebene, de missilangreb, han lancerede mod de syriske militære installationer, skrev det Russiske Udenrigsministerium kæmpe avisoverskrifter. De gik virkelig i detaljer og hævdede, at britisk efterretning havde beordret – lagt pres på – de Hvide Hjelme til at iscenesætte disse videos og bruge dem som provokation for, som det lød, »at få Donald Trump til at gå i musefælden og gå ind i en krig i Syrien«.

Then, a week prior to that, the Russian Foreign Ministry had
issued a statement calling into question whether British
intelligence had actually been responsible for orchestrating the
nerve agent attack on the Skripals — the father and his daughter
— as a provocation to attempt to start a war with Russia.
Here’s what Sergey Lavrov had to say.  He said, “There are other
explanations besides those that were put forward by our Western
colleagues, who declare that it can only be the Russians who are
responsible.”  He said, “Experts say that it would be highly
advantageous to the British security services as well, who are
well known for their capacity to act with a ‘license to kill’.
It could also be advantageous to the British government, who
clearly find themselves in a difficult situation, having failed
to fulfill their promises to voters over Brexit.  In the times of
the Cold War, there were some rules.  But now, Britain and the
United States have dropped all propriety.”  Then the Russian
Foreign Ministry put out a statement demanding that the burden of
proof lay on the British, not the Russians, to prove that they,
in fact, were not responsible for poisoning the Skripals.  What
the Russian Foreign Minister said is that they demanded that
London prove that British secret intelligence agents weren’t
responsible for poisoning the Skripals.  Here’s the text of a
statement [Fig. 2] that was put out by the Russian Foreign
Ministry.  They said:
“An analysis of all the circumstances, leads us to think of
the possible involvement in the Skripal poisoning by the British
intelligence services.  If convincing evidence to the contrary is
not presented to the Russian side, we will consider that we are
dealing with an attempt on the lives of our citizens as a result
of a massive political provocation.”
So, that was March 28th.  It’s clear.  The Russians are not
pulling any punches when it comes to calling out the British and
identifying the methods that British intelligence is notorious
for using to stage provocations; what they called “massive
political provocations” intended to pull the world into a World
War.  And it has to be understood as such; there is nothing short
of that as the intended goal.  As Theresa May herself declared,
her ambition is to re-establish the British as what she called “a
global Britain”; to re-establish the global power of the British
Empire.
It’s clear that the Russians have made a decision at the
very highest levels of their government, to openly go after the
British Empire by name.  It doesn’t seem that they intend to
retreat from that strategy.
A major development occurred yesterday afternoon, where, in
an extensive press briefing, the spokeswoman for the Russian
Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, waged a full frontal attack on
the British Empire by name, and its record of genocide, coups
d’état around the world, and targeted political assassinations.
She presented a 17-page dossier that went through a litany of
British crimes and British killing.  It was a no-holds barred
presentation.  Now, because you’re guaranteed not to see coverage
of this presentation on your local cable news network, or in the
Washington Post or the New York Times, we’re going to share
with you an extensive selection from this press briefing.  Not
everything, because we definitely would not have time.  But I
just want to give you a taste of what Foreign Ministry
spokeswoman Maria Zakharova when through in this press briefing.
Under the subhead “Political Crimes Committed by the UK”,
this is what she had to say:
“And now I am asking everyone to fasten their belts. During
a briefing on the OPCW report held for the international
diplomatic community on April 13, UK Ambassador to Russia Laurie
Bristow said that ‘the Russian state has a record in
state-sponsored assassinations including in the UK.’ It is not
the first Russophobic statement made by a UK official, or, for
that matter, not the first UK statement that is an offense to
law, standards of decency or any morals. But it’s not the main
point. Let’s put aside morals and the law and talk about something
different. Maybe the UK Ambassador does not know his own country’s
history, role and involvement in processes that took place in
other countries over the past centuries. I don’t think Mr. Bristow
is to blame for absence of law in the UK. He probably just doesn’t
know his country’s history. I think now is the time to fill this
cognitive vacuum and tell the world something about Britain’s
history and its international activities and their consequences.
Let us talk about state contracts, assassinations and Britain’s
reputation.
“Let’s start with modern history. It is not a common subject,
but Britain was one of the most ruthless metropolises in terms of
the repressive actions it took in its colonies and dependent
territories. On November 22, 2017, British journalist and writer
Afua Hirsch wrote in the Guardian that ‘from the Norman
conquest of Ireland in the 12th century, the English began
imagining themselves as the new Romans, persuading themselves
they were as duty-bound to civilize “backward” tribes as they
were destined to exploit their resources, land and labour.’
“This accepted view of Britain’s history completely
overshadows some inconvenient facts. If the motive is what
matters most of all, nobody wants to know the details. But today
we will be speaking about details. The establishment of
concentration camps in the Boer War that later inspired the Nazis
death camps, the cultural annihilation of kingdoms and palaces
from Ashanti to Beijing, British army massacres in Ireland and
the devastation of Bengal, the industrial-scale exploitation of
natural resources and the slave trade. These are only the most
glaring facts.
“The impact of colonial rule in India was extremely
devastating. In 1930, American historian Will Durant published a
book about the history and life in India, The Case for India.
His study of India brought him to the following conclusion: ‘The
more I read the more I was filled with astonishment and
indignation at the apparently conscious and deliberate bleeding
of India by England throughout a hundred and fifty years. I began
to feel that I had come upon the greatest crime in all history.’
“Britain has left fault lines across the globe, which is
most acutely felt in the South Asian subcontinent, where a single
nation was forcibly split into two in 1947. Today each of these
parts is overcoming the consequences of the British colonial
‘legacy’ on its own. Member of Parliament, former UN
Under-Secretary General Shashi Tharoor, an astute statesman who
once ran for UN Secretary-General and deservedly enjoys respect
the world over has repeatedly stated that the British authorities
suffer from ‘historical amnesia’ as regards their imperial
atrocities. One has to agree.  Speaking at Oxford on July 22,
2015, he said: ‘India’s share of the world economy when Britain
arrived on its shores was 23%. By the time the British left it
was down to below 4%. Why? Simply, because India had been governed
for the benefit of Britain. Britain’s rise for 200 years was
financed by its depredations in India.’  According to Dr.
Tharoor, in fact, Britain’s industrial revolution was actually
premised upon the de-industrialization of India. Britain
repeatedly provoked famine in India, which killed between 15
million and 29 million people. The best known famine was that in
Bengal in 1943, when four million Indians died. You could think
this to be just journalistic speculations. But no. Addressing the
Speakers Research Initiative on July 24, 2015, Indian Prime
Minister Narendra Modi stressed that the discourse by Dr. Shashi
Tharoor met the aspirations of his country’s citizens. I am saying
this to you, Mr. Bristow.
“In his book Inglorious Empire released in 2017, Dr.
Tharoor cited the atrocities of the British Empire, stating that
the former British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, should be
regarded as one of the cruelest dictators of the 20th century.
This is what Churchill said in a conversation with Secretary of
State for India and Burma Leopold Amery: ‘I hate Indians. They
are a beastly people with a beastly religion. The famine was
their own fault for breeding like rabbits.’ This is not what we
are saying, nor are these our inventions. It’s a fact.
“The Russian artist Vasily Vereshchagin has a famous
picture, ‘The Devils Wind.’ This is not a symbolic comparison.
The canvas shows a type of execution invented by the British to
crush the 19th Century Sepoy Mutiny in India (1884) … A victim was tied
to a gun with his back to the muzzle and blown to pieces by a
gunshot. This was one of the most barbaric punishments in the
history of civilizations; aimed not so much at physical
extermination, but intimidation. Even without it, the British had
so many infernal instruments of torture and execution that this
option doesn’t seem so original and, honestly, was rather costly
for the Brits. But from the religious and caste point of view,
this method of putting to death is absolutely unacceptable for
Indians. Their bodies were blown to pieces and the dead were
buried together regardless of caste, which is radically at
variance with the Indian tradition.
“Yet another episode of the same kind occurred in Amritsar,
Punjab, on April 13, 1919, when 50 British troops under
Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer fired their rifles without
warning at pilgrims celebrating Baishakhi, the Punjabi harvest
and New Year festival, at the centrally located Jallianwala Bagh
public garden. The gathering was mostly made up of women and
children. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that
these British subjects were acting on direct orders of the
British authorities. According to the British government, 379
people were killed and over 1,000 wounded. The Indian National
Congress said 1,000 people were killed and 1,500 wounded.
Regrettably, millions of Indians were to fall victim to the acts
committed by the British authorities, including mass executions
by a firing squad, during at least several decades after these
sad events.
“Africa has also suffered its share of British abuses. Some
13 million Africans have been removed from the continent as
slaves. The number of Africans who died in that period is three
or four times larger than the number of those who were removed
from the continent. In other words, the overall number of victims
runs into tens of millions of people. It is notable that English
philosopher John Locke, who advanced the theory of civil society
and whose works influenced those who wrote the US Constitution,
was a major investor in Britain’s slave trade. It is a fact.

into tens of millions of people. It is notable that English

“The British were among the first to invent concentration
camps for civilians in the Boer War of 1899-1902. These camps
were created for the civilians who were suspected of sympathizing
with the rebels or who could help them. The British torched their
farms and fields and slaughtered their cattle. Women and children
were separated from men. All this happened long before World War
II. The men were taken to outlying regions or Britain’s other
colonies, such as India or Ceylon.
“When the world learned about this horrible invention of
British military commander, Lord Kitchener, the British
government published an official statement saying that the camps
had been created to keep the peaceful population of the Boer
Republics safe from harm’s way, and the camps were renamed
‘refugee camps.’ This is remindful of the story of the White
Helmets: take militants, extremists and terrorists, put white
helmets on them with ‘Peace’ written on these helmets, and then
use them to stage provocations and present mobile phone footage
of their crimes as evidence of the plight of the civilians who
must be saved. Centuries have passed, yet nothing has changed.
Overall, 200,000 people or half of the white Boer population was
herded into the British camps, where about 30,000 of them died
from disease and hunger.
“Historians believe that Britain is the world’s leader when
it comes to genocide, given the millions of innocent civilians
that have been killed in British colonies.
“According to different estimates, between 90% and 95% of
aborigines were exterminated during the colonization of
Australia. Indigenous Australians were not only killed but also
used for experiments. The British deliberately infected them with
various diseases, primarily pox.
“Remembering the notorious Opium Wars would not come amiss.
London was poisoning Chinese people with drugs for decades.
Britain organized a supply of opium to China making fabulous
profits. The operation also pursued the military-strategic aim of
demoralizing the Chinese army and people, and depriving them of
the will to resist. In a bid to save his country, the Chinese
Emperor in 1839 launched a massive operation to confiscate and
destroy opium stocks in Canton. London retaliated by unleashing
the Opium Wars. China was defeated and had to sign a crippling
peace with Britain.
“|’As long as China remains a nation of opium-smokers there
is not the least reason to fear that she will become a military
power of any importance, as the habit saps the energies and
vitality of the nation.’ This was how Richard Hurst, the British
Consul in China, ended his speech to the Royal Opium Commission
in 1895.   It was not until 1905 that the Chinese authorities
managed to adopt and start implementing a program to gradually
ban opium.
“One more interesting fact: According to the British
national archives declassified in 2014, the British authorities
made wide use of chemical weapons to put down the Arab rebellion
in Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq) in the spring of 1920. Winston
Churchill as Britain’s Secretary of State for War supported ‘the
use of gas against uncivilized tribes.’ According to archives,
Churchill ordered the use of thousands of mustard gas shells
against the rebels. The anti-British rebellion in Iraq claimed
between 6,000 and 10,000 lives, according to various sources, a
negligible number from London’s point of view compared to other
regions.
“Now let’s move on to espionage operations and pinpoint
sabotage and subversive acts. From time immemorial,
representatives of Great Britain have been avid fans of various
kinds of covert operations and targeted subversive acts against
specific individuals as a way to secure political benefits for
Great Britain. This predisposition is richly represented in their
art, things like the James Bond gold collection. This may sound
ridiculous unless you know that the author of the series, Ian
Fleming, had searched through the archives, so Agent 007 in fact
has real prototypes. This anthology of crime, artfully described
by writer and part-time naval intelligence officer Fleming is a
light version for those who are not interested in historiography
“Indeed, the Bondiana is a very symptomatic example of the
British government’s love of such things. Fleming died in 1964,
but what he described lives and thrives. New James Bond episodes
are regularly released, as everyone is used to the superhero.
Times change, the actors and sets change, but the idea remains
unchanged — a British agent, in the service of the Kingdom, gets
nothing less than license to kill. Once again I repeat, this is
not a fictional invention, but a result of work with archival
materials. What we see in the Bondiana is actually taking place
under the cover of MI5 and MI6.
“Thanks to the films, people have a basic understanding of
the license to kill concept — a term denoting the permission
granted by the official government or a state agency to a secret
agent who serves this authority to independently make a decision
on the necessity and expediency of murder to achieve a certain
goal. Once the mission is completed, the agent always returns to
the base.
“It is a pity that in normal life, things are not so
beautiful and dignified.
“And now getting back to reality. The following historical
episodes are not fiction; they are facts. Some of them are
proven, whereas others are highly likely hypotheses put forward
by historians.
“Scotland Yard historians also maintained the British
authorities’ complicity in the murder of Grigory Rasputin.
” [T]here are similar versions regarding the murder of
Russian Emperor Paul I
“Historians also write about the so-called Lockhart
Conspiracy organized in 1918 by the heads of the diplomatic
missions of Britain, France and the USA to Soviet Russia in order
to overthrow the Bolsheviks.
“In 2013, information was made public indicating that the
MI6 intelligence service was the mastermind of the assassination
of Patrice Lumumba, the first democratically elected prime
minister of Congo.
“As time went by, official London and its diplomatic
missions continued to actively meddle in the domestic affairs of
other states and to influence their political regimes. Suffice it
to recall 20th Century events when British secret services ‘took
part’ in staging a coup d’état in Iran in 1953.
“British diplomats working in Moscow are probably listening
and recording all this. They will have to send their report to
London today. I have done my best, and this statement is 17 pages
long. I have one question: Are you proud of your history? Then
you need to make a choice: either you advocate human rights,
international law and democracy, or you are proud of what you did
in the past and continue to do today.
“In August 1953, the CIA and the British Secret Intelligence
Service staged their joint Operation Ajax to overthrow the
government of Mossadegh.
“Although we were members of the Anti-Hitler Coalition, the
UKs behavior during World War II can also hardly be called
equivocal, due to a number of factors. Some historical episodes
give rise to major questions about the essence of the UKs
policies on the international scene. This includes, for example,
Rudolf Hess mysterious flight to the UK on the eve of the German
invasion of the Soviet Union. The history of every country has
some unpleasant facts, for which future generations will have to
pay the price and assume moral responsibility. But the British
secret services have classified all the documents on this case
for 100 years, and this deadline is being extended.
“Another example of subversive operations can be found in
Kim Philby’s book My Silent War, which contains some interesting
evidence. In April 1951, London hosted a meeting of
representatives of the British and US intelligence services
regarding both countries use of Ukrainian nationalist
organizations. Again, everything ties up.  By that time, the
secret services had supported Stepan Bandera’s Organization of
Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) for many years and used them to
recruit agents and obtain intelligence on the USSR. Cooperation
between OUN and the Intelligence Service grew steadily. In 1949
and 1950, several OUN saboteur squads were para-dropped to
Ukraine. In the early hours of May 15, 1951, British secret
services para-dropped three reconnaissance-saboteur squads.
Everyone knows about the atrocities committed by Banderas
supporters, including mass executions of civilians, hundreds of
thousands of men and women, old people and children, Russians,
Ukrainians, Belarusians, Jews, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks and
Yugoslavs, the Volhynia massacre, the murder of Polish
professors, the Katyn tragedy, punitive operations in Slovakia,
Warsaw, and Prague.
“The British authorities actively recruited professional
criminals during their subversive operations. Remember, they told
us that Russia is a criminal state with which there should be no
cooperation? But the British authorities cooperate nicely with
criminals. We are not even talking about White Helmets and people
recruited into this organization who are supported all the same.
Lets talk about ‘mundane’ things. In 1973, Her Majesty’s
Government officially admitted that Kenneth Littlejohn and his
brother Keith had robbed banks in the Republic of Ireland for
over 12 months in order to discredit the Official Irish
Republican Army (IRA). This amounts to classic tactics. Kenneth
Littlejohn claims that he was instructed to kill Sean Mac
Stíofáin, the former chief of staff of the IRA.
“And here is another example: Howard Marx, an Oxford
graduate who became a drug dealer, was recruited for the purpose
of obtaining information about the IRAs weapons supply chain. In
return, the authorities promised not to prosecute him for
drug-related crimes. These are isolated examples.
“By the way, the British government is known to have created
comfortable conditions in the UK for criminals from other
countries. According to the UK Home Offices information for a
period between 2005 and 2012, there were over 700 war crime
perpetrators living in Britain.
“The British authorities also like to use prohibited methods
for treating prisoners, especially when they need to get
information from them. And, of course, nobody has called off the
license to kill.
“We also remember how Qaddafi was removed and that London
applauded the execution of the head of a sovereign state.
“God knows in how many other such cases the UK government is
involved.
“In conclusion, I will provide the ‘deadly list’ of the
prominent and talented people who died a strange death in the UK
in the early 21st Century.”
And among many others, she includes the following case:
“July 2003: a UK authority on biological warfare, David
Kelly, was found dead in Oxfordshire. The inquiry concluded that
he had committed suicide. I would like to remind you that David
Kelly criticized the Tony Blair government and claimed that the
invasion of Iraq in 2003 was based on falsified data. A decade
later, the UK government admitted that the data was indeed
falsified.”
So, in the immortal words of Hans Christian Andersen: “The
Emperor, indeed, has no clothes.”  The crimes of Britain stand
exposed, and, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche said, they have completely
over-extended themselves.  Now, it is up to us to just rip the
mask away, and let the truth stand on its own.  I guarantee you,
just as the American people have never forgiven Tony Blair and
George W Bush for dragging us into war in Iraq on the basis of
damned British lies and a British intelligence hoax, future
civilization will never forgive us for allowing ourselves to be
duped again; this time into starting World War III on the basis
of these same British lies.  It’s time for all of us to, once and
for all, reject the agenda of the failed British Empire, and to
instead embrace the vision of a New Paradigm of great powers’
relationship for the planet, built as Franklin Roosevelt
intended, following the defeat of Hitler in World War II; that
this partnership would be built on the pillars of a relationship
of the United States, Russia, and China.  That this partnership,
this alliance of great powers, would have the power to end the
reign of the British Empire once and for all, by bringing peace
through economic development, and great projects such as the New
Silk Road to the entire planet.
This is the subject of this pamphlet [holds up Four Laws
pamphlet]; this has been in circulation now for almost a year.
This is “America’s Future on the New Silk Road”.  It goes
extensively into the physical economic principles which could be
applied to bring about this kind of great projects, international
development perspective and finally end the legacy of British
colonialism, enforced backwardness, and genocide. This pamphlet
is now going into a second updated printing.  It is incumbent
upon all of us to use this window of opportunity to go into a
mobilization like we never have before.  It’s clear that there is
still a war waging for the soul of this Presidency in the United
States.  Indications are very clear that President Trump himself
is very reluctant to abandon his inclination towards just such a
great powers relationship; a relationship between the United
States and Russia, and the United States and China, to create a
new strategic economic order for the planet.  Despite the
ill-advised attacks under the influence of war-mongers and
neo-cons and British intelligence fellow travelers inside his own
administration, since then he has made it very clear — despite
Nikki Haley’s declaration that there will be another round of
sanctions on Russia.  Trump has contradicted that, and despite
Nikki Haley’s declaration that no, in fact, we will not be
withdrawing our troops from Syria; Trump has contradicted that,
and accused Nikki Haley of being “confused”.
There is a war waging for the soul of this Presidency, and
the stakes could never be higher.  It is our role here in the
United States to make very clear what the positive vision of the
future can be, now that these British lies stand exposed.
What I would like, is to conclude with a clip from a webcast
which Helga Zepp-LaRouche broadcast yesterday, where she
documents exactly this exposure of British crimes, British
hoaxes, and British lies.  She says that now is the time to act
to usher in a New Paradigm for civilization.  So, here’s Helga
Zepp-LaRouche:

  HELGA ZEPP-LAROUCHE:  Well, there is right now, in
certain European political layers, a big debate:  Has the “deep
state” in the United States won already, or is there still some
options that Trump could stick to his announced policies?
Well, obviously the “deep state” is, or what people call the
“deep state,” which is this what President Eisenhower already
pointed to as the “military industrial complex” combined with the
intelligence services belonging to the British Empire faction —
obviously, they’re still very strong.
But on the other side, I think they have never been so
exposed, and at a time when ordinary people have the feeling that
everything is falling apart, — the trust in government is
collapsing, pensions are not seen as secure, there is fear of a
new financial crisis much worse than 2008 — people have a sense
that there really is no institution, I mean, in the West, people
have the sense there is no place they can turn to in terms of
trust.  And in such a moment, when people realize who are the
war-mongers, and that they’re pushing war against Russia using
lies, I think this can completely backfire and once these lies
are being dismantled and ostracized; and the people pushing the
lies are being ostracized, I think there can be a real return to
an international relation among nations, not only reviving the UN
Charter, reviving international law.  But also, I think sometimes
you need a shock like this present experience, to move to a New
Paradigm of international relations.  And I think that is
absolutely something on the horizon.
I mean, you see a dynamic where more and more countries are
not going along any more.  The East European countries, the
Central European countries, the Balkans, the South European
countries, Switzerland, Austria — they all want to have a
different kind of relation, and the more countries have that kind
of determination, and the more countries which are not yet there,
like Germany, France, Great Britain, the more people mobilize and
speak out to stick to the truth — you know, there are many
people in motion right now, there are many appeals being
circulated among people who say “we have to return to reason”; we
have to have to have a good relationship with Russia and China.
Without these two countries, no problem on this planet can be
solved.
And the more people start to engage in such a discourse and
get active; I’m in one sense a Leibnizian, believing that a great
evil always generates the potential for an even greater good,
because that’s the laws of the universe.  I think the universe is
made in such a way that there is this tremendous ability to
improve, to become better; to have higher forms of existence.
And it does require the individual action — it’s not a
dialectical materialism, or historical materialism, which goes by
itself. But there is such a thing as the combination of
objective conditions and subjective intervention. And the
objective conditions do exist.  They exist in the form of a New
Paradigm promoted by all the countries participating in the Belt
and Road Initiative; and if you add to that the subjective
factor, which is the courage of the world-historical individual
acting on the basis of his or her knowledge, I think there is all
the chances that we can move humanity into a more safe historical
period.
So therefore, I can only appeal to you:  Join us.  That’s
the best thing you can do.

  OGDEN:  So, as Helga LaRouche said, with these British
crimes now exposed for the world to see, now is the time to move
decisively into a New Paradigm for civilization.  So, with that

Det er generelt tilfældet, at folk i både Østen og Vesten ofte har accepteret ideen om, at der findes en eller anden fundamental forskel mellem den kinesiske tankegang og den vestlige tankegang, og at dette er et uoverstigeligt svælg. Som Rudyard Kipling, den britiske imperialist, grundlæggende set sagde, »Øst er Øst, og Vest er Vest, og aldrig skal de tvende mødes«. Som jeg altid har sagt, så er dette ikke en konstatering af fakta, men er derimod en politik – dette er den britiske imperiepolitik, der sørger for, at der eksisterer en opdeling, for det er gennem at holde verden opdelt, at de kan fortsætte med at herske imperialt over de opdelte nationer.

Men vi har altså, både her i USA og i Vesten og i Kina, at folk accepterer denne idé om, at der skulle være en eller anden fundamentalt anderledes tankegang. Der er selvfølgelig forskellige karaktertræk i vestlig kultur og i kinesisk kultur – det er der ingen tvivl om. Men folk, der fremfører dette som et argument, er tilbøjelige til at sige, at deres side er den overlegne, og de andres side er underlegen; og dette ser man for øvrigt i Kina såvel som her.

Det, jeg vil gøre i dag, er grundlæggende set at tilbagevise denne opfattelse og forsøge at vise, at det, der er fundamentalt for mennesker overalt, er kampen mellem en humanistisk opfattelse af mennesket og så den oligarkiske anskuelse af mennesket som i heldigste fald en eller anden slags avanceret dyr; og at dette er arten af hele den vestlige kulturs historie og af hele den kinesiske kulturs historie.

Jeg ville ønske, at fornuft ville indtræde i hovedet på nogle af de europæiske regeringer, og at de simpelt hen ville gå sammen i fællesskabet. Jeg har ikke set noget tegn på dette. Faktisk har den tyske EU-kommissær for budget og menneskelige resurser, Günter Öttinger, netop sagt, at Europa ikke bør være »fort Europa«, men at vi bør bringe udvikling til Afrika. Men så sagde han, at vi bør gøre dette for ikke at overlade det afrikanske kontinent til kineserne, som blot ville forfølge deres egne, egoistiske mål. Og så længe denne idiotiske tankegang er fremherskende, tror jeg ikke, der findes nogen løsning.

Folk bør indse, hvad det er, Kina gør, og holde op med at have disse fordomme. For, hvis man sammenligner den moralske kvalitet af det, Kina gør for sit eget folk og for andre nationer, så er det himmelvidt overlegent i forhold til det, Vesten foretager sig.

Deres rapport, Harbored Ambitions – How China’s Port Investments Are Strategically Reshaping the Indo-Pacific (Nærede ambitioner – hvordan Kinas havneinvesteringer er i færd med en strategisk omformning af Indo-Stillehavsområdet), bruges til at bære ved til endnu en spærreild af trætte, anti-Bælt & Vej historier i medierne.

Hvis det er så slemt, hvorfor støtter over 100 lande og internationale organisationer det så, spørger hun? Det er med til at »skabe de fysiske og kulturelle betingelser for interkonnektivitet« og global vækst. »Kina har ingen geopolitiske bagtanker, søger ingen ekskluderende blokke og påtvinger ingen forretningsaftaler«, tilføjede hun. For det tredje er det gensidigt fordelagtigt og win-win; »Det er virkelig et kinesisk forslag til promovering af globalt udviklingssamarbejde«.

Problemet skal findes hos forfatterne, slutter hun: »For at opsummere vil jeg gerne minde de relevante personer, der bryggede denne rapport sammen, om, at, hvis de fortsætter med at se på andre såvel som på verden med dystre tanker og igennem farvede briller, vil de se alting som mørke og fælder. Men hvis de derimod er tilstrækkelig åbne og frisindet, vil de finde en soloplyst verden, der er lys og varm.«

20. april, 2018 – BBC-reporter Stephen McDonnell fik en sjælden adgang til Kinas EAST tokamak-eksperiment med en rundvisning af faciliteten og tilladelse til at fotografere. Han fik også lejlighed til at tale med Song Yuntao, vicedirektør for EAST-tokamakken.

»Fusion vil kræve enorme gennembrud fra foskere og ingeniører, såvel som en masse finansiel støtte fra regeringen«, sagde Song. For at give et eksempel, så koster det $15.000 om dagen bare at tænde for maskinen, og det inkluderer ikke lønninger til hundreder af forskere og ingeniører, rapporterer McDonnell.

Selv om Kina er medlem af det internationale ITER-eksperiment, forklarer McDonnell, så »foretager det også spring og fremskridt selv«.

Det næste foreslåede skridt for dette team er at designe en fuldt udviklet kernefusionsreaktor, der kan generere elektricitet», rapporterer McDonnell. Song siger, at »behovet for energi er enormt i alle lande, og Kina har en køreplan for fusionsgenereret energi. Vi ønsker at færdiggøre designet for en testreaktor inden for fem år. Hvis det lykkes os, bliver det verdens første fusionsreaktor.«

Titlen på McDonnells artikel er: »Vil Kina blive de første i verden, der får kernefusion og ren energi?« Hans slutning besvarer hans spørgsmål: »Det er måske lidt ude i fremtiden, men Beijing tager udfordringen meget seriøst, hvilket betyder, at, hvis de kan få det til at virke, kunne Kina ende med at være foran alle andre, når det drejer sig om fremtidens energiskabelse.«

Lina Khatib, chef for Mellemøsten- og Nordafrika-programmet i Chatham House, Det britiske Imperiums fremmeste tænketank, indrømmer åbenlyst, at børneeventyret om de kemiske våben blot er et kneb for at blive ved med at bombe Syrien tilbage til stenalderen, indtil Rusland indvilliger i at Assad-regeringen. »Det bør ikke glemmes, at kemiske våben sluttelig ikke er hovedproblemet i Syrien – de er et symptom på det virkelige problem, som er Assad-regimet ved magten … Der kan aldrig komme fred i Syrien, så længe Bashar al-Assads regime er ved magten«, skriver Khatib ufortrødent.

»Nu, hvor USA har forpligtet sig til militær aktion, kan angreb kun være midlet for målet, vejen til at lægge tilstrækkelig meget pres på Rusland til at overbevise dem om at indvillige i seriøse forhandlinger. Seriøse forhandlinger betyder at erklære Astana-processen og Sotji-forhandlingerne for døde og opgive den facade, som Rusland blev dygtig til at udstille under Genève-processen. For at Rusland kan optræde seriøst i forhandlinger, må det tro på, at USA er seriøst. Det, der er en fordel for USA, er, at dets hovedallierede – UK, Frankrig og Saudi-Arabien – alle er på linje. Dette giver det en enestående mulighed for at engagere i en vedvarende, målrettet kampagne imod Assads militære aktiver, og som har bred international støtte.

Selv om det foreslås, at sidste uges angreb blot var en engangsforeteelse, så ville en sådan kampagne ideelt set ikke blive stoppet, før Rusland indvilliger i seriøse forhandlinger om en politisk overgang i Syrien. Sluttelig ønsker Rusland ikke, at dets fodfæste i Middelhavet skal udgøres af murbrokker.«
